SUBTERRANEAN CHEMICAL TREATMENT

GET RID OF TERMITES

In order to properly treat for subterranean termites, we must drill beneath the cement slab of the structure around the exterior perimeter to aid in the application of a registered termiticide (Termidor, Taurus, Navigator, Etc) . This treatment method is used across the industry to eradicate the termites and prevent them from attacking and damaging your investment by creating a barrier to the property. Once the holes are drilled and the termiticide is introduced to the soil, the holes are then filled with concrete filler so there is little to no visual evidence that your foundation has been drilled into.

MARINE FUMIGATION

TERMITE CONTROL

Yes, boats can get termites too! The same process we apply to a home fumigation is also the same process we apply to aquatic vehicles as well. If it’s made of wood, it’s susceptible to a drywood infestation. To properly treat the vessel in all affected and potential areas, it would be ideal to be brought onto shore and placed on some type of support so its lifted off the ground. As long as you can get it to shore, we can tent it.

TERMITE MONITORING

Termite monitoring service includes the installation of our Ground Watch protection monitors. This is an efficient way of being pre-emptive to the threat of damage to your property against subterranean termites. The monitor stations are checked 4 times a year so that if any of the stakes show activity, we can immediately treat the property before any issues occur. We can get rid of termites before the situation even starts.

FUMIGATION

GET RID OF TERMITES

Fumigation with a registered fumigant is utilized for several different pests and purposes. Since many of the wood members are not exposed, this is the most effective method in helping you get rid of termites. The most common type of fumigation is structural. Insects, like drywood termites make their colonies in the actual wood members of your property. The fumigant penetrates deep within the wood members of your property and fully eradicates these structural pests. It is like hitting the reset button on all pests in your property.

TERMITE / DRYROT REPAIR

TERMITES

Dry rot on a property is more common than you think. Dry rot is an actual living organism (fungus) that deteriorates the structural integrity of the wood infected and if left unchecked, can spread to any adjacent wood it is in contact with making repairs more expensive. The good news is, dry rot repairs can be made by splicing out the affected area, treating any adjacent wood with Octaborate to arrest fungus growth and installing new members in affected areas.

TERMITE INSPECTION

For any homeowner, it is recommended that your property has a full termite inspection done every 2-3 years. Not only are registered pest control companies looking for the presence of termites but anything that may be conducive to attracting them. Areas of the property that an inspector inspects are: Exterior, interior, attic and sub area if your home is not built on a slab foundation. To the trained eye, these areas are crucial areas to inspect for the presence of Wood Destroying Organisms. Another aspect of Termite Inspections are Section 1&2 inspections. If you are purchasing a property, selling a property or even refinancing, a Section 1&2 inspection is recommended. FHA and VA loans require a Section 1-2 inspection.
